| Thomas is part
of the elite group of Melville varsity lacrosse players that play defense
as sophomores. Due to his speed and stick skills he will assume the role
of defensive middie and close defense. Last year he was starting close
defense and defensive middie on the JV team. Thomas was a member of the
under 17 USA team that competed in the championship playoffs in Adelaide,
Australia.
As an 8th and 9th grader he was a member of the freshman basketball team and served as co-captain. Thomas was a starter on the freshman and JV football team and served as co-captain of both teams. He was a running back and safety, and led the teams in rushing and tackles.
