| As
starting Goal Keeper, Nick begins his second year on the team. Playing back-up goalie last
year as a tenth grader, he gained valuable varsity experience practicing with the squad
every day. Nick was a member of the 1999 Empire State Team, which captured the silver medal last summer. Recently he was named "Most Outstanding Goalie" at the National Indoor High School Lacrosse Championship tournament, held at the Peddie School. He hopes to anchor the Melville team for another successful year. Being an athletic goalie, he loves to run and to clear the ball, managing an assist last year despite limited playing time. Nick is a vocal leader on the field and is determined to win. Nick also captained the Varsity Soccer Team as a Sophomore and as a Junior, capturing All-League and All-Conference Honors, and was part of the 1997 league champs as a Freshman. GPA: 4.3 |
