Doug is a junior who is playing his first season on the Ward Melville Varsity Lacrosse team. Last year he started at midfield for the JV team and was a key contributor to the team's success. Doug is known for his speed, hustle, and defensive ability and looks forward to the challenges this season brings.

Doug started at point guard for the Ward Melville Varsity Basketball team this past winter and was a team leader on the varsity volleyball team, earning All-League recognition. As a freshman, he received the Babe Ruth Award as his school's Outstanding Male Athlete.

Doug is an excellent student-athlete with a 3.75 GPA and is a member of S.H.A.R.P. (Students Helping And Reaching Peers). He also referees and teaches basketball fundamentals for the Three Village Basketball League.
