Records just ain't what they used to be. Derrick Preuss. . He had the radar 'ON' today. He also broke the school single game goals record by two with his ten goals and two assists. (Matt Monfett tied the old record at 8 goals just last week). On to the action. The Patriots went immediately to the cage. Early and often... today that means an 11-0 first quarter. The team played very well and as the score indicates, spent most of the time on offense. Faceoffs were ours with Casino and Biel at a combined 17 of 21.
Some notable events were Nick Mayers Happy Birthday with 1 goal and 2 assists. Matty Mo' with 3 and 3. Willy P. nets one after denting the keepers limbs and shaft. Cole Ferraro with pretty goal turning on the crease. Billy Pohmer (2g) driving to cage with a score. Chris Passavia bolting upfield for an assist. Mike Magro with a goal. Nick Gentilesco seeing the ball well with 7 quality saves. Matt Jungers with a fine goal after beating 2 men.
